Ramblings from a Twisted Mind

At the moment  I'm reading a science fiction novel published in 1980 and set in the far future year of 2009.   So far, it appears to be a far nicer 2009 than the one we actually got  (though the computers seem somewhat clunkier).

And yes, they have flying cars!
