 Well!  That was another good episode.   I''m really enjoying this season of Doctor Who.   The main threat was scary but simple,  and caused by good old human greed and carelessness.   In that respect the spiders reminded me of the giant maggots in "The Green Death".

(Our real antagonist, of course,  was Robertson.   No spoilers,  but given his ambitions,  I wouldn't mind seeing Team Tardis going forward a couple of years one episode and learning what becomes of him.)

I'm still just so surprised to see well-known American actors show up on Doctor Who that I spent about ten minutes going "That's Chris Noth, isn't it? Is that really Chris Noth?" I wish they hadn't made such a point of saying that he wasn't Trump, though -- that's a true antagonist. *cough*

Perhaps they were scared of being sued for libel? I'm not sure how much closer they could have made Robertson resemble Trump, though, unless they had him tweeting his thought bubbles all through the episode. "No giant spiders in my hotel. Fake news. Sad."
