 ...And here I am, nearly at the end of this series,  and it's suddenly turned into a soap opera again.  What's more it's a darn good one too.   There's attempted murder , blackmail, stolen documents,  a long lost husband returning from the dead  (the day his 'widow' remarries!) and all round family dysfunction.   A sorcerous head is looming on the horizon,  but for the moment all the supernatural tricks have been laid aside.   Oddly enough it works!
